... I did it
February is amost getting away such as the finalization of my complete English program and closing my eyes remember to my brother telling me: "It's not so difficult, come on! In few more months we should be at Squaw Valley speaking on English to everybody". Ok - I told him- but I wondered if I could really be understood speaking in another language. Some anticipated fears roamed my head; however, I did not put learning off and started to study English at ICPNA. It's gratifying when you realize that you have accomplished one of your goals with effort and dedication. After finishing basic level, going to another country and enhanced it, I continued studying English with the purpose to finish it. Now in my last days of leaving advanced level, I would like to mention the most important things that I learned studying English like the importance of learning English as a second language and learning about the experiences of our teachers.
First of all, I realized how important is to know English as a second language, since I had the crucial decision to work abroad, I could understand that knowing English makes you be part of a bigger group where no matter your nationality because English generates links and also it's one of the languages most spoken, so that, everybody rule it.
Furthermore, learning about another cultures allowed me to reduce the "language barrier", so I could interact with other people and make great friends too.
Second of all, I learned about the experiences of our teachers. Every month was different and full of new knowledge reflected on each teacher. I remember them recommending to all of us, always should have a very good attitude and predisposition for learning and become better people or either being perseverant on English and practice more hours at home in order to reach success on it. That's the only way you will see changes. Similarly to some others sayings " The best way to show respect to another person is to be always on time for any meeting you have. So please, come early to your English classes my dear students".
In conclusion, having studied English at ICPNA has allowed me to enhance myself opening me more opportunities on the education, cultural and work field. Highlighting the importance of learning a popular language and also about the teachers' experiences. I'm very glad of it and want to say thank to every teacher I had because they did a great labor with us. I will carry in my memories the best of you. Now I could say it was not so difficult, I did it.
